From its origins, RAF has maintained a subspecialty focus. National studies show that when subspecialists interpret an exam, they are less likely to recommend an additional test than when the image is read by a general radiologist.

Also as imaging modalities become increasingly complex, the need for expertise in the pathology of specific areas becomes even more necessary. This is why our practice consists exclusively of radiologists with advanced training in a subspecialty.
